Chapter 8 Asking for a blessing and receiving multiple gifts

Seeing that Rex just needed clothing and weapons. Mira enjoyed having Rex close by. So she decided to continue talking to him to distract him from leaving so quickly.

"Rex, is there anything special you want from us? We blessed you without your consent even though it was for the better. I still want you to ask something from us."

Mera noticed what Mira was trying to do. She too did not want Rex to leave soon.

"Yes Rex. We still have our pride and what we can and will do. So please take that into consideration."

After hearing Mera, Rex sat down and began to think about what he should do.

His mind immediately wandered to the Oracle who lost his sight for any other woman. Rex knew he would never get his sight back permanently but seeing his daughters should be a top priority.

Thinking along those lines, Rex remembered that his daughters all got married the same week. In the same place just so that their father would not be called away during their ceremony.

Rex stood back up. His head hung low because he knew if he did not word this right. He would lose this chance forever.

"I want the main Oracle in the Mortal Realm to be able to see his descendants. I know personally he has five daughters and has barely been able to see them. In a year, they will get married. His sight was never able to see his daughters fully dressed properly for a man. That is the blessing that I want."

Mera and Mira both looked at each other. They understood where Rex was coming from. They also knew that he was truly a terrible person.

"Shall we tell you how terrible that man is?" Mera asked.

"No. I know he did some bad things. Yes he deserves not to be able to see any woman or girl. For him not to be able to see his own children. Please let him at least have that much."

Mera and Mira went to another corner and disappeared. Rex thought that there might be a door there.

He went and found there was nothing at the spot the Goddesses disappeared from.

"Well that sucks." Rex said.

In the Eighth Mortal Realm

It was nighttime and if someone walked through the wide streets. They would hear all kinds of strange noises.

In the middle of it all was a single story house, it had more bedrooms than most palaces had maids.

In a singular room in the middle of the house. The Oracle was sleeping. While he was sleeping, he had a vision.

"Greetings you filthy mortal." Mira said in disdain.

The Oracle immediately kowtowed and begged for forgiveness. He knew he had wronged plenty of people in his life. He was willing to throw away his life if it meant he had been forgiven.

"Sorry but no. You were required to endure 100,000 years in the Mortal Realm never to see a woman or girl ever again." Mera rolled out a scroll and read it.

The Oracle felt that he would die and still be suffering from what he had done.

"We blessed a boy whom you had already judged as useless because he could not cultivate normal Qi. He has mostly Heavenly Qi and a little of Godly Qi. He asked that you be able to see your descendants." Mira said.

Hearing that he might get a chance to see his daughters. The Oracle was greatly pleased. It was extremely hard to see them. The conditions were at first not bad. While his daughters grew older, the conditions became worse. He decided that he would rather not see them than have a chance to ruin everything.

"We decided you shall be able to see your descendants. There is a catch to that though. Your sons' wives, you shall not see. Your daughters' who decide to marry, you will not see their husbands." Mera cursed.

"We shall grant you a blessing of short sight to see your daughters before they get married. Once they do, the blessing may or may not prevent you from seeing them." Mira cast the blessing.

Feeling something hit him. He felt tired and woke up in his bed soaking wet.

"I must call my daughters home." The Oracle rushed out undressing himself along the way.

He would rather be seen naked in his own house then be seen sweating profusely in one of the nicest gifts he had ever received. It was still a cheap robe by the Eighth Realm standards. To him it was priceless.

One of his maids, actually had earned enough to get him that gift and he cherished it thoroughly. Arriving at the maid's corner, he opened the door. He saw six out of the twelve maids still awake. He went to them and bent over.

"I know I wronged each of you. I also know that I am a selfish man. Here tonight I have received a gift of blessings. I might be able to see the daughters that I decided were not forth trying to see. Can I ask that in the morning you tell the others that I need to see all of my children?"

Hearing how polite, their owner was. They felt anxious because he would never once bid them to do anything. Even to spend a night with him. To suddenly hear him say he had gotten a gift of blessings. They knew something heavenly had happened.

"We shall call all of your children home in the morning. Although it will be tough to reach the First Realm. Shall we attempt to do so?" One of them asked.

"No. I will directly go down there in the morning after I shower again."

The maids looked closely. They realized that he had been sweating profusely. Seeing that was why he was naked. They took the initiative to see if they could help wash him.

It was not because they wanted to. They felt that he should have already been killed and the contract on their souls be lifted. With the backing of the Three Great Sects. The man in front of them was untouchable.

They thought if he ever would try harder to correct himself. They would try to help him be it at small things. So once they asked, the man looked at them and proudly nodded yes.

The one that had given him the robe as a gift, was still sleeping. Seeing that she should help him out in the morning. The others decided to go in and help him.

Although he got aroused, he never once touched them. He had wronged them once and decided that he would never touch a woman again.

Seeing how the man kept his hands tightly together. They knew he was resisting to touch them to the best of his abilities.

One of them slowly undid his hands and washed them. She was not afraid of what would happen because he had always secluded himself for everyone.

Once she was done washing his hands and arms. She gently placed his hand on her face. She had forgotten how the feeling of a man against her was. She had a husband before the man ruined her life. Feeling man's touch for the first time since then, she knew how lonely she was.

"Master, please in the future accept us. We cannot live without a man. We tried to conceive a child. We might be able to now. I hope that you will at least cherish us like the first gift you received."

Seeing how lively one of his maids was trying to be. He silently vowed to accept their shortcomings and make them better. They would never be the same again but he would do his best to heal their wounded hearts.
